Hard Apple Cider Bread

Over the summer, I was introduced to Angry Orchard hard cider.  My particular favorite flavor is the Green Apple.  Since I had my first sip, I just knew there was something I could do with it besides drink it!

I was making a hearty Split Pea Soup the other night and I had a light bulb moment when I opened my fridge and remembered the 6-pack of Angry Orchard we had. That’s how this Hard Apple Cider Bread recipe was created!

This recipe for Hard Apple Cider Bread couldn’t be any easier either.  No eggs and just five minutes to prepare before popping into the oven.

Want a different flavor?  Substitute the cheese.  Think cheddar, chipotle, the possibilities are endless.  No onion powder?  Try chives!

Dice up the bread for dipping in chili, cheese sauce, dips or slice for soups and maybe even a sandwich!

Hard Apple Cider Bread

One of the last steps to this apple cider bread is to brush the top with melted butter. This is how you get a delicious crunchy top to your bread.

I have a feeling once you make this Hard Apple Cider Bread recipe it is going to become a family favorite.

This looks great! Will definitely try but most beer drinks are NOT gluten free so if you're making this with the intention of gluten free please check the alcohol first!!

I'd say any beer I know of is NOT gluten free. Luckily, Angry Orchard is a hard cider and IS gluten free.
