Efficiency and Ease with KitchenIQ
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for KitchenIQ. I received promotional items to thank me for my participation.
I have always been drawn to kitchen gadgets. I swear there isn’t a kitchen gadget I haven’t bought or used. Along with that though comes knowing a lot of poorly designed and crafted kitchen items. While I love cooking and the process and prep of cooking, I don’t have a lot of time to do it.
I recently invited a few of my friends over to introduce them to a new-to-me company called KitchenIQ. All of my friends are busy like myself, so I was happy to let them know that KitchenIQ carries an array of products that are aimed at making our lives in the kitchen more efficient and easier! I figured it was a great time to enjoy a delicious meal together, so we made my famous Beef Stew recipe.
If there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is that a dull knife can really waste a lot of time and energy in the kitchen. Personally, I have had more accidents with dull knives than sharp ones if you can believe it! How many times have you wrestled to slice a tomato or cut through meat?
My friends and I did some before and after with the knives in my kitchen using the KitchenIQ Edge Grip Sharpener and they couldn’t believe how quickly it got all of my 10 year old knives like new again! It’s a great value too with two stages of sharpening (sharpening and finishing). The Edge Grip Bottom allows you to have a stable surface to sharpening your knives on the counter top or edge of a counter top or table.
We had some laughs over this one! After seeing the amount of dirt that came off of our potatoes, we were besides ourselves at how much dirt we probably had eaten over the years! Gross! Imagine having 1 tool right in your hand for 3 different uses! Scrubbing, peeling and paring. Besides potatoes, we use this on carrots, celery, cucumbers and more.
One of my personal favorites was the Better Zester.
I’ve used a lot of zesters over the years. The KitchenIQ Better Zester did more than just make perfect little pieces of lemon zest. It created a sensory experience as well. The lemon scent that came out of the Better Zester from my lemon was amazing. I would have loved to have bottle it up!
The Better Zester has a non-stick food approved coating that makes zesting smoother and clean up easier. The container is great for measuring how much zest you have!
The KitchenIQ products made our Sunday dinner beef stew quick and delicious!
