I just love creating a delicious Easter brunch for my family every Spring. As opposed to winter holidays, I love the bright, happy feeling that the Easter season brings!
I’m sharing some of my favorite brunch recipes using Smithfield Foods brands that you can use to for an easy Easter brunch, like our favorite Frittata recipe. I promise these are foolproof and anyone can put them together, even in a pinch!
For these recipes, I am using Smithfield Anytime Favorites Diced Ham, Nathan’s Famous Bagel Dogs, Carando Italian Style Meatballs and Pure Farmland Plant-Based Breakfast Patties.
I remember my mother buying bagel dogs for my brothers and I many years ago. I was super excited when I found Nathan’s Famous Bagel Dogs at my local Stop & Shop! Nathan’s combined two of my favorite flavors for this heat and serve snack: Nathan’s Beef Franks and Everything Bagel seasoning! You can find them in the frozen aisle.
The main dish at my family’s Easter brunch is this delicious and easy Frittata using Springfield Anytime Favorites Diced Ham. I love making frittatas! Besides being so hearty, it’s full of flavor! Sometimes we even enjoy this frittata as breakfast for dinner!
How to Make an Easter Brunch Frittata
Milk
Smithfield Anytime Favorites Diced Ham
Spinach
Cheddar cheese
This frittata recipe is really very versatile, use whatever you have on hand! Some of our favorite variations:
Mushrooms
diced bacon
Swiss or feta cheese
diced tomatoes
onions
asparagus
diced peppers
smoked salmon
crumbled sausage
You cook this frittata right in the oven, so you can prepare it the night before your Easter brunch and pop it in the oven in the morning!
I used microwavable spinach for my recipe, but if you aren’t doing this, just wilt your spinach in a saute pan until it has wilted. Add the spinach to your egg mixture.
Whisk everything together.
Pour your frittata mixture into a prepared pie pan.
Cook for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until the edges of the frittata have pulled slightly away from the sides and the edges are browned.
If you have frittata leftovers, just store them in the fridge. You can easily microwave a piece.
Whether you are enjoying Smithfield’s protein-rich products for an easy and delicious dinner or for brunch, you will be sure to fulfill your family’s needs!
