DIY Holiday Plate + Sending Love with Shutterfly
I love giving unique and one of a kind gifts to family and friends. This year, we are invited to a few cookie decorating parties, so I had been searching for a nice hostess gift to bring with us. I love Christmas plates and thought it would be cute to bring a “cookies for Santa” plate to a cookie decorating party. You know what’s even cuter? A plate you made FOR your host!
DIY Holiday Plate
- With permament marker, draw your desired designs on a plain white plate.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for no more than 30 minutes.
Isn’t that easy?!
My other holiday favorite? Buying my cards from Shutterfly. I usually order my cards and photo gifts all in one order. The quality is amazing and the prices can’t be beat. The hardest part is really choosing which card to send!
I decided to go with a simple card this year. I usually do professional photos, but decided to try my hand at my own photos and I was so thrilled with the results. I didn’t want to take away from the photo that I was so proud of.
Shutterfly has a ton of Christmas photo ideas too that can help you customize your cards and help you make them extra special just for your family.
I love making photo gifts for my kids to give to their grandparents too.
We made one of these mugs to give to my son’s 1st grade teacher last year with a picture of the class and his teacher cried over it!
