A taco a day keeps the….wait! That’s not how it goes! Seriously though, does anyone ever really get tired of eating tacos? I know I don’t! These Chicken and Black Bean Tacos are a family favorite! Time to TACO it up!

These Chicken and Black Bean Tacos are made easily thanks to the ease of using rotisserie chicken. They are such a time saver on busy days! No rotisserie chicken? It’s ok! You can also cook up some chicken breasts.

How to Make Chicken and Black Bean Tacos

You will need: 

Shredded chicken
Stuff & Stand Tacos
1  packet taco seasoning or make your own taco seasoning
salsa
black beans
shredded taco cheese
Your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, lettuce, diced tomatoes

After preheating your oven, spray a baking dish with non-stick spray. 

In a large skillet, add your shredded chicken, taco seasoning, salsa, and 1/2 cup water.

Cook for a few minutes on medium heat just to combine the ingredients and heat through.

Set your taco shells up, standing, in your baking dish. Fill your tacos evenly with the chicken mixture.

Top your tacos with black beans and cheese.

Bake your chicken and black bean tacos in the oven for 10-12 minutes until cheese is nice and melted.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups from one rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 6-8 Stuff & Stand Tacos
  • 1 packet original taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 can black beans
  • 2 cups shredded taco cheese
  • Taco toppings like sour cream, lettuce, diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Spray your baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. To get started making your chicken and black bean tacos recipe, add add chicken, taco seasoning, salsa, and 1/2 cup water in a large skillet.
  3. Cook for a few minutes on medium heat just to combine the ingredients and heat through.
  4. Set your taco shells up, standing, in your baking dish. Fill your tacos evenly with the chicken mixture. 
  5. Top with black beans and fiesta cheese.
  6. Bake your Chicken and Black Bean Tacos the oven for 10-12 minutes until cheese is nice and melted. 
  7. Top the Chicken and Black Bean Tacos with additional toppings you like and enjoy!
