Thank you Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups for sponsoring this post. Enjoy the flavorful, slow-cooked taste of restaurant-quality soup at home, in minutes.
Winter has finally arrived and we are all about comfort food here at home. I love a delicious, hearty soup for lunch or dinner. It’s even better after an afternoon of playing in the snow! I usually stock up on all of the ingredients I need to make a homemade soup before a snow storm hits. Honestly though, these kids have been keeping me so busy and on the go, there has just been no time lately to do that!
Field Green Salad with Homemade Apple Cider Vinaigrette to Pair with Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups.
What’s better than the convenience a store bought soup? One that’s so delicious it tastes homemade! One of my favorite soups to have on hand on snowy winter days are Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups.
I keep Idahoan instant potatoes on hand all of the time, so I figured I would give their new soups a try too!
You’d be amazed how in just 5 minutes you can have a hearty, slow-cooked tasting soup. The Idahoan Steakhouse® Soups are a blend of real Idaho® potatoes, seasonings and cheeses. If you could believe it, you just need to add water!
There are 4 delicious Idahoan Steakhouse® Soup varities: Loaded Potato, Creamy Potato, Cheddar Broccoli, and Cheddar Potato. The loaded potato was my family’s favorite. There’s nothing better than a delicious side salad to pair with a hearty bowl of soup. Because the soup has so much flavor already, a simple salad with an apple cider vinaigrette and field greens is perfect.
I love making my own salad dressings, it really gives you control over what you put in it. Mix it all up in a mason jar so you have an airtight container to store it in without having to wash another bowl. The apple cider vinaigrette pairs perfectly with the walnuts I put in the salad!
