6 Tips for Trick-or-Treating
Wear comfortable shoes
We save the fancy princess shoes for costumes for pictures and parties. For trick or treating, the kids and I all wear comfortable sneakers. Our first few Halloween’s were cut short thanks to aching feet.
Glow sticks or flashlights
Don’t forget to bring some glow-sticks or flashlights to help light the way as you trick or treat!
A big trick or treat bag
Some of those little pumpkins are so cute, but they barely hold anything! Make sure to pick up a trick or treat bag to hold enough candy to keep the kids going!
Fuel up before hand
There’s nothing worse than hangry kids. Make sure to fuel up on a good meal before hitting the trick or treat trail.
Bring a backpack
Inevitably, I always get stuck carrying something. But hey, that’s what the mom tax on the candy is for, right? I bring a drawstring backpack to throw my keys, phone, water and more in to keep my hands free.
In my backpack I keep a few bottles of water. This time of year I love picking up the Nestlé® Pure Life® Halloween themed 8oz 24-pack. They’re small enough to fit in my backpack while we trick-or-treat and are the perfect healthy alternative to sodas or juices and they keep us hydrated on the go!
My kids love to collect the 8 different Nestlé® Pure Life® Halloween themes!
I picked up a case of Nestlé® Pure Life® Halloween themed 8oz. 24-pack bottled water while I was doing my Halloween shopping at Walmart!
