Every now and then my kids start to go through a food rut. They are pretty picky eaters and I often struggle to get a good share of protein and veggies into them. When I met Dr. Praeger’s Purely Sensible Foods at the Natural Products Expo in Anaheim, CA this past March, I knew I had found something new to bring home to the kids.

Hidden Veggie Cheese Sauce
Delicious cheese sauce with carrots as a hidden veggie!
- 1 cup milk
- 24oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- Dr. Praeger's Purely Sensible Foods
Boil or steam the carrots until soft.
Blend with the immersion blender or blender until the carrots are completely smooth and pureed.
In a microwave safe bowl, combine cheese and milk.
Microwave for a total of 5 minutes, stirring every minute or so.
Stir in pureed carrots.
Serve with Dr. Praegers Purely Sensible Foods.
