Having Fun at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia
For months now I have been hoping to take the kids to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia. This past weekend we finally had some time to do so. I couldn’t believe how much my kids absolutely loved it!
Before heading to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, I asked a few friends who had been how long they estimated our stay to be. Most said 2-3 hours. Personally, after 2-3 hours, my kids were no where ready to head out. They could have stayed 2-3 hours in each section of the discovery center!
Everything is hands on. You will find LEGOs of every size and shape, directions for the kids to build with and lots of staff to help the kids.
There were activities for boys and girls of all ages. Little ones could find large duplo block stations to build with and a small activity area where they could go down a slide. There was a super cool LEGO Friends building area that my daughter just loved. My son’s favorite was the LEGO Racers: Build & Test area.
Admission included the LEGO themed ride “Imagination Express” and the LEGO 4D Cinema. We saw a LEGO Chima 4D movie, but there were different movies playing all day that we could have seen.
My personal favorite was the LEGO Miniland which included over 1.5 million LEGOS creating an interactive Philadelphia.
At the end of our visit, we spent some time hanging out at the LEGO Pirate Adventure Island!
The LEGOLAND Discovery Center is located at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, Philadelphia.
