Outrageous Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Last week, during our Mini Chef Mondays #PassTheScope Periscope video with We’re Parents and Courtney’s Sweets we featured these Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies.
Since we were getting on the video right from preschool, I actually measured everything out in advance for my daughter. I can’t believe I didn’t do this before, because it made EVERYTHING so much easier!
Here is what you need to make these Outrageous Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies!
- 1 egg
- 1 stick salted butter
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c oats
- 3/4 c flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Combine the egg, butter, sugars, vanilla. Then add the oats, flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Fold in the chocolate chips.
To keep the cookies from flattening out, chill the dough for a minimum of 2 hours before baking.
On a baking sheet add 2 tbsp of dough in rounds. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-11 minutes until the cookies are browned.
These Outrageous Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies were perfect with a delicious, cold glass of milk!
