Kindness, Acceptance and Generosity with the Clangers
This is a sponsored post in collaboration with “Clangers” and Coolabi. All opinions are my own.
As we finish up the 2016 Holiday season, I can’t help but reflect on the wonders that this season always brings my family. I have spoken about how much we love the show Clangers several times this year and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention them at this time of the year as well.
Clangers are all about kindness, community, discovery and are always accepting of others. These are all traits we need to teach our children, more so during the festive season. The holiday season is a way to come together with your family and friends to spread joy and give back.
While it is important to have our own family’s traditions, I couldn’t help but teach my children how others are not as fortunate this time of the year.
We shopped for a little boy as part of a local gift drive. There were over 850 children who needed sponsors to help make their holiday season bright and joyous.
We talked about the other holidays of this time of the year like Kwanzaa and Hanukkah. We brought cookies and chocolates to our friends and neighbors. So many of them are going through rough patches and we really felt they needed a pick me up this time of the year.
