Replace Tricks for Treats this Halloween with the Sugar Goblin
A few months ago, I told you about how food dyes were ruining our life. I have been having so much anxiety trying to figure out how I was going to manage trick or treating with my daughter this Halloween. I cannot tell how you how thrilled I was when this cute little fellow showed up at my doorstep last week.
Meet: Sugar Goblin.
The Sugar Goblin is a new family tradition that will entice your children to eat less candy this Halloween. The Sugar Goblin inspires kids to exchange their candy for fun pranks and presents. The Sugar Goblin comes with an adorable story created by parents and entrepreneurs Crystal and Michael Boyle.
The story goes that it has been a very long time since the Sugar Goblins played silly tricks to get treats on Halloween! The only thing that Sugar Goblins eat is candy and because their candy stash is getting low, they want to bring back their favorite tradition of pranks, jokes and fun!
So how can your kids help the Sugar Goblins? Before Halloween begins, invite a Sugar Goblin into your home. My kids love to play with the Sugar Goblin! Mom and dad create their own traditions by organizing Sugar Goblin tricks, as such as hanging pictures upside down on the wall, making faces on plates of breakfast food or staging a tea party with stuffed animals. Have fun with it! The kids just love to see the fun tricks and can’t wait to see what that silly Sugar Goblin is up to next!
Here is the key though! The only way for the kids to see the Sugar Goblin’s tricks is by giving up some of their Halloween candy so that they can feed the Sugar Goblin village! As a thank you, the Sugar Goblin leaves behind a gift for the children.
The Sugar Goblin storybook and plush toy package is designed for children ages 4-8 and is available on Amazon or Target.com for $29.99.
