2015 Kia Sedona
If you could believe it in my entire life as a mom, I had never been in a mini-van! That recently changed when I test drove the 2015 Kia Sedona.
This was a family car for sure! Seating 7, it’s the perfect car for large families or for those that just want added room and extra comfort. In 2014, the Kia Sedona underwent a huge overhaul and was then named the Best New Car Design at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
We were shocked at how a van of this size and caliber, drove as sooth and hugged the road as tightly as the Kia Sedona did. The V6 engine was unexpected, again for a drive of this size. The 2nd row seats recline, making it a dream machine for traveling with First-Class Lounge Seating! The second row even has heated seats and there own power outlets, which my children thought were amazing to be able to play with their devices easily in their seats. The front seats were like nothing I ever sat in before, driver and passenger side. They literally hugged your body in an ergonomic design.
The parking assistant was very high-tech with the 3D model of your surroundings. The entire 2015 Kia Sedona is high-tech. The Smart Power Liftgate spoiled this mom with full hands all the time. The outside mirrors are power-folding and when you lock it upon leaving, they fold. The lane assist feature was one of the less intrusive of cars I have test driven recently and has quickly become my favorite new feature of newer generation autos. The 2015 Kia Sedona was chosen as the 2015 IIHS Top Safety Pick.
If you are in the market for a new van, the 2015 Kia Sedona has it all – style, class, safety and high-tech features.
