mazda cx 9 review 2015
Before I became a parent, I had no idea how much more stuff I would carry around in my car. Strollers, car seats, clothing changes, snacks, random toys and other objects, the list goes on. This past week we had the chance to ride around in the very stylish, yet functional 2015 Mazda CX9 for a little Zoom, Zoom fun thanks to DriveSTI.
We found the Mazda CX9 to offer an affordable SUV option to those looking to combine space and style. We were blown away at the quick acceleration thanks to the V6 engine. It seemed to switch gears smoothly and without hesitation.
For an SUV of it’s size, it did great on gas mileage. We had to fill up in only one time throughout the course of the week and that included a two-hour trip to Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, PA.
A few of my favorite features included:
- The 8 way adjustable driver seat. My husband and I are considerably different in size and I loved that we were both able to comfortably adjust the seat to our liking.
- Heated seats,
- 11 speaker Bose System and XM Satellite Radio,
- Large Rearview Camera,
- Safety features such as the Blind Spot Warning System and Rear Cross Traffic Alert,
- Keyless Entry,
- Remote Trunk Release,
- On-board Navigation system,
- Spacious trunk space
I am used to driving a crossover on a daily basis that drives much different than the CX9 does, so it took some getting used to. All in all though, if you are a large family looking for an affordable SUV with safety features and third row seating, check out the Madza CX9.
