When I started my Whole30 Challenge exactly 1 year ago, I found myself searching for compliant products. I started searching for things like coconut flour and almond meal – 2 things I never even knew existed. Bob’s Red Mill was the first brand I found and I quickly became hooked on the high quality of their products. While I have tried other brands, I always come back to Bob’s Red Mill for the simple fact that I find their natural food products to offer the best taste and consistency.
Being how Bob’s Red Mill has been producing Gluten Free products for the last 30 years, I trust them to keep my pantry and body free of gluten! Bob’s Red Mill follows 3 principles — trust, honesty and integrity. I love that they use clear bags so you can always see the high quality products you are purchasing.
Bob’s Red Mill products in my pantry right now:
Almond Meal Flour is perfect for those following a Paleo, low-carb, or gluten-free diet. I love to use it to bread chicken cutlets or in baked goods!
Organic Coconut Flour is high in fiber and low in carbs! Check out my recipe for my Paleo Cake:
Gluten Free Quick Cooking Oats – I love oatmeal and oatmeal cookies, so for me this was the perfect gluten free swap!
Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour – Bob’s GF All-Purpose Flour is the best! To me, it has the same consistency as regular wheat flour and when I use it? No one even suspects it’s gluten free! The flour is a mix of garbanzo, tapioca, sorghum and fava flours, as well as potato starch. Use it to recreate your favorite recipes into gluten-free alternatives!
Gluten-Free Homemade Wonderful Bread – as a bread lover, I miss my bread! But, recently I have been able to enjoy a sandwich or piece of bread thanks to Bob’s GF Homemade Wonderful Bread mix! I use my bread machine to make it, but you can use your good ‘ole 2 hands if you wish!
Xantham Gum – The SECRET to delicious gluten-free baking! Xantham Gum is a plant-based thickening and stabilizing agent. In gluten-free baking, it works to imitate gluten and gives your dough elasticity and viscosity. It will hold your cookies together and allow your cakes and breads to rise. Before I ever use Xantham Gum, my GF baked goods were horrible and from an avid baker that was horribly disheartening! Thankfully, my very good friend who has been living gluten free for over a decade let me in on this little secret. Hopefully it will save your gluten-free baked goods now too!

I love Bob’s Red Mill Flours for GF baking! The all purpose flour is a little bean-y but the pure flours – almond, coconut, garbazno, etc are the best!
I’ve never paid much attention to the gluten free products. What is its health benefit?
Well for me the health benefit is not living in pain! I have a gluten intolerance and any amount of gluten makes me ill with very bad stomach pains and mouth sores. There are many other symptoms that have disappeared as well since not having gluten in my diet.
I am trying to cut gluten out of my son’s diet because he gets very sick from it.
I tried their gluten free brownie mix and loved it.

I am definitely going to have to invest in some. I am trying to transition my children to a gluten free diet.
