Now that the weather is cool again, I like to start stocking up on my scented body washes and sprays. I cannot stand to wear it in the spring and summer when the air is thick and warm. This fall I was introduced to a new-to-me company – Yves Rocher. Yves Rocher kindly sent me a box full of scented goodies to review and I found myself a new skincare line that I am wondering how I lived without!
Yves Rocher has been a leader in the botanical beauty world for over 50 years. They harvest their own organically grown plants, extract the finest ingredients from those plants and then distribute their own products to ensure quality and safety. Products include makeup, skincare, body care, fragrances, hair care, and bath & shower.
I was able to preview their 2013 Holiday Collection prior to it’s release in November. And I am so excited to share it with you.
Like I said, this was my first experience with Yves Rocher. I really enjoyed the subtle, not overpowering scents. I have very sensitive skin that tends to get very dry in the winter, so I was very pleased to find the hand creams worked very nicely on my hands. The Cocoa is so indulgent mixed with the Pistachio or Raspberry . I found the makeup to be very high quality. The lipstick is creamy and moisturizing. Red is usually not a color I would choose, so it’s a lot of fun to wear something so different from my norm. On the days I am not feeling up for an adventure, I stick to my normal “nude” shade of lipstick and I pair it with the mandarine lip-liner. Both the lotions and soaps are hydrating. They do not leave a film or residue left behind.
Since I really enjoyed my products, I checked out the website to see about ordering more. The prices are great for such high quality products in my opinion. Orders $40 and over receive free shipping, plus up to 4 free gifts and samples! I love when beauty companies send samples in orders.
