There is nothing better than seeing friends do wonderful things. About a year ago, my friend & fellow Douglass College Alumna Jenny, started a business called Charlie Thyme. Jenny is one of those people who are crafty in and out of the kitchen. For years now, I have tried so very hard to can things. I’m always amazed at the things that Jenny can “can” and despite her advice, I still can’t get it right. If you are like me, I highly suggest you check out her canning classes located in the Northern New Jersey area at local libraries and more!
My first experience with Charlie Thyme was right after her shop opened and I was searching for Princess cut outs for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. Jenny came to the rescue for my Princess Party!
I love all things Pumpkin, so when I saw & smelt her Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub at Rutgers’ Scarlet Harvest Festival this past weekend, I couldn’t resist. Everything is made right in Jenny’s workshop in New Jersey. The scrub is made of all natural ingredients like sugar, spices and kosher vegetable glycerin. My second favorite thing about this? The mason jar of course! I love how long the scrub is going to last me because I find a little bit goes a long way. I used it to give myself a pedicure and it left my feet smooth and I swear I wanted to lick my arm it smelt so darn good!
