Before my mom days, I had a deep obsession with buying purses. When I became a mom, it carried over to diaper bags. There was always something about a bag that I didn’t like – it was too heavy, the straps weren’t the right length, not enough room inside, no place for my personal belongs, etc. I had been seeing these really stylish bags by 2 Red Hens around the internet and I was really eager to try one out! I recently had the opportunity to review the 2 Red Hens Rooster Diaper Bag in Grey Damask.
What initially attracted me to the Rooster Diaper Bag was it’s vintage design. The second thing? It didn’t look like a diaper bag. There is nothing worse than a product that screams Frumpy Mom all over it. These bags are stylish and fun! Designed by a mom and former rocket scientist, the 2 Red Hens creator thought of everything. As most of you know, my motto for my blog is to give you reviews so that YOUR life can be easier and therefore enjoyable! 2 Red Hens does just that!!
The Rooster Diaper bag features:
- A Zipper pocket, bottle holder and 2 elastic pockets
- Removable stroller straps! Fit your bag on ANY stroller handle!
- An attached key fob – never lose your keys in the bottom of your bag again!
- Magnetic snap & button
- Water resistant & easy to wipe clean!
- Extra long polka dot changing pad!
My days of using diapers are over, thankfully, but that doesn’t mean I still don’t need a bag. I am not one of those mom’s that can walk out with a small purse and call it a day. If I don’t have the necessary provisions with me, trust me I will need them and be sorry! Currently in my 2 Red Hens Rooster Bag is a travel potty seat, a 31 bag filled with a change of clothes for my son and daughter, a bag of wipes, and antibacterial lotion. In the zipper is an accessories bag for myself and my wallet.
I used this bag all weekend and I was so happy with it. The straps fit perfectly around my shoulder and didn’t slouch. I liked how it buttoned closed and then had an additional button in the front, so I didn’t feel like my belongings were going to fall out. Being how this bag is full of my “potty training” supplies, I REALLY like that it is water resistant and I can clean it easily! The removable stroller straps were a big plus for me as well. I have used a variety of different strollers and nothing is more annoying than having NO place to put your bag!! The 2 Red Hens Rooster Diaper Bag is high quality and at a price of $50, it is worth it!
