To make this chili cheese dip, first you need to prepare some flavorful chili. I highly recommend using this chili recipe that has never let me down before. The key is to use leftovers since I always seem to have leftover chili on hand no matter how much I cook in the first place – not that it tastes bad after being reheated though.

Chili is a mealtime staple during the fall and winter, but so many people enjoy it year round. The rich tomato sauce simmers for hours to create an indulgent base full of flavor with just enough heat from peppers!

Friends will gobble up this cheesy chili dip, and you’ll need to have a backup batch ready before they finish the first one. The hardest part about this recipe will be having enough for throughout the entire game!

This cheesy dip is comfort food meets party appetizer.
