Chili Cheese Dip
Who else loves enjoying football season with their friends? We all make a dish to bring to someone’s house to enjoy the game and some great snacks! I always make this Chili Cheese Dip. Not only is it super easy, it’s super delicious!

To start off making the Chili Cheese Dip, you need to make some chili!
Basic and delicious one pot chili recipe
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 1 stick celery (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tsbp chili powder
- 2 tsp oregano
- salt & and pepper
- 1 can Hunt's Diced Tomatoes (Undrained)
- 1 can Bush's Chili Kidney Beans (Undrained)
- 1 can Hunt's Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp cumin
In a large stock pot, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Discard any fat from beef.
Stir in spices, tomatoes and beans. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
This chili recipes makes a ton, so it is perfect for game day! I make it in the morning and then portion out some for the week for lunch or dinner and then some for this Chili Cheese Dip recipe. Be forewarned though. Your friends are going to go through this quick. So be prepared to make it all the time and have back ups when you make it.
Chili Cheese Dip
Chili Cheese Dip is the perfect game day appetizer made with an easy chili recipe!
- 2 cups Chili
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- Scallions (diced for garnish)
In a medium saucepan, mix together chili and cream cheese.
In an oven safe skillet or dish, spoon the chili mixture over the bottom.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and top with scallions.
Serve warm with corn or tortilla chips.
Chili is a mealtime staple during the fall and winter in my house, so I always pick up Hunt’s, Ro*tel and Bush’s products when I am shopping at Walmart!
