The Power of Friendship
*Thank you to Friendship Dairies for sponsoring this post.
There’s something about sitting down with a group of friends. Since becoming a mom it seems those times are few and far between though. So when we do get together, it’s like a complete feeling of relief. Getting feelings off of our chests, knowing we aren’t alone in how we feel, just a feeling of total acceptance.
It’s during these moments with friends that you learn how different, yet the same you are. It’s these differences that really can sometimes be eye opening. If you can believe it, it was because of my friends that I started this blog! After I had my son, I just was very lonely and bored. My friends told me that I had a lot to offer other people, like my delicious recipes, my everyday outtakes and humor in life and much more. I just couldn’t believe it. It’s hard to see those things in yourself, no?
I have to say, as reluctant as I was, I am sure am glad my friends pushed me! For a long time, I had said I had no idea what “job” I would go back to once both of my kids went to school full time. I am so proud to say that I have been able to turn a reluctant hobby into a full time job that I love!

In a unique social experient, Friendship Dairies teamed up with a real mom in need. Will her friends drop everything and come to her side? Watch it unfold:
Friendship Dairies, as a product, they have integrity. As a brand, they hold together, stay true to who they are, and encourage others to do the same. They’re purveyors of friendship and believe that friends open each other up to new experiences. They turn their loyalists into advocates, and their easy, crowd-pleasing recipes prove just how surprisingly fun sharing friendship can be. Of course, whenever I get together with my friends, there’s coffee and some kind of baked good involved. What goes better with a cup of coffee than a piece of pound cake?
