How You Can Get All of Your Entertainment Needs at Xfinity!
This post is sponsored by Comcast.
Over the last 13 years that my husband and I have been Xfinity customers, we have seen a very broad transformation in their service. Xfinity Stores are the best place to go to get all of your entertainment needs for in and out of the home.
In case you haven’t already heard, Xfinity Mobile is now here! Xfinity Mobile is the nation’s first wireless service combining America’s largest, most reliable 4G LTE network with Comcast’s 18 million WiFi hotspots to provide customers with a better wireless experience, for less money, on today’s most popular devices. Xfinity Mobile is a service that is looking to provide value to their existing Xfinity Internet customers.
How?
As a current Xfinity Internet customer, you automatically get up to 5 lines of Xfinity Mobile unlimited nationwide talk and text service, free of charge. Yes you read that correctly.
What about data?
Save money by paying for the gigabytes of data you use at $12/month a gig, or if you are like me and go over your data every month, just pay $45/month for unlimited data. My favorite aspect of this plan is that you can mix and match your data plans. My husband does not use nearly as much data as I do, so we both can pick and choose the plan we would like to use. There are no penalties for switching back-and-forth between data options at no cost!
Auto-Connect to the millions of Xfinity WiFi hotspots around the country.
Personalized customer support including 24/7 customer support via text message, retail store locations for in-person help and 24/7 support from their dedicated Xfinity Mobile call centers.
Be sure to download the Xfinity Mobile App so that you can easily manage your account in real-time and see your current bill!
Xfinity Mobile even allows you to access the most popular devices from Samsung like the Samsung Galaxy Note8 or the latest phones from Apple, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone Plus! Like most mobile carriers, Xfinity allows you to make monthly payments on your devices. If you are making payments on your device and it is in good condition, with your insurance plan you can upgrade in just 12 months.
How much money will you save a month with Xfinity Mobile?
So now that Xfinity has made your life easier out of the home, let’s talk about how they are helping you inside of the home with Xfinity xFi.
Xfinity xFi is the new personalized WiFi experience that provides you with a simple digital dashboard. Customers can set up their home WiFi network, find passwords, set parental controls and more. With xFi, Xfinity customers are able to have unprecedented viability and control over one of the most important technologies in their home!
My favorite features of xFi?
You can instantly pause WiFi access on your home network – for device or user. Dinner ready? Time to do homework? Time for bed? Pause the network for a certain amount of time!
I love that you can use the voice control of the X1 voice remote and see results on the biggest screen in your home — the television.
Finally, one of our favorite changes here in my home is that now Xfinity has integrated some of your favorite apps like Netflix and YouTube alongside the live, on demand DVR and other web programming that is already included with your Xfinity TV subscriptions! Easily access YouTube’s vast online video collection by simply saying “YouTube” with the X1 voice remote to launch the app or search for your favorite videos by saying things like “Find Minecraft videos by DanDTM”.
Sports fans will love the new fantasy football experience launched by CBS Sports Digital on X1. Viewers can access their CBS Fantasy League standings, see weekly match-ups and team performances. Watch the live game and highlights while you keep an eye on your fantasy team’s performance, all on one screen!
Xfinity sounds like the service I could use for all my needs. I am always going over my phone data plan so I would love that unlimited data plan.
Xfinity definitely sounds like something my household needs! I love that it has all those great apps on it, too!
I don’t know if they offer Xfinity by us, but if they do it looks like a great way to go. I like the idea of having unlimited data. I will see if they offer it here because I am looking.
XFINITY has massively upped their game lately. I really love that I can access Netflix right through my cable box.
I love what XFINITY has done with their service over the past couple of years. The internet speed is SO fast, and their customer service sites are amazing.
Xfinity Mobile sounds like a great cellular plan. I like how you can customize the plan and even change it if you want. It’s hard to know sometimes how much data you are going to really use in a month.
My husband would love the sports available on this. We have Internet but cancelled cable and use our Amazon fire stick.
My family has not yet switched to Xfinity from Comcast but I do see the benefits they offer. We are actually considering them so thanks so much for your informative post!
We don’t have Xfinity here in Canada but I am always hearing good things about it. My family in the US all have it and love the service and selection.
This seems pretty awesome. I’ve been using free internet that my building provides, but this may be worth investing in.
I keep hearing such amazing things about Xfinity! I so need to check this out, especially for my husband this holiday season!
What a lot of good options. I am impressed with all the technological work that Xfinity is doing. Thanks for sharing all this good stuff.
Xfinity is totally new to me … I wonder if we have it here. I’ll check it out. My boys would love the fantasy football!
Wow! I didn’t realize Xfinity connected all of those apps! That is so nice to be able to use one device to access everything.
I’ve heard so many great things about Xfinty!Look like it meets a lot of my needs, definitely worth checking out!
I would definitely need the unlimited data. I would never be able to keep to a certain amount, ha!
I just saw a commercial for the pause feature and told my husband was a great idea that was!
This is crazy and completely something I need to check out. I am really interested in the xFi.
I’m so jealous. We don’t get xfinity in my neighborhood. I wish we did because I know the service is so much better than what I have now.
Xfinity sounds like an awesome company! I especially liked the data switch plans, that is so useful! I am living in South Africa at the moment and you won’t believe the price of data. $45 for unlimited data sounds like a bargain, and unseen over here! To give you an idea of how ridiculous data prices are here, I pay that ($45) for 7.5 gigs!
How cool, I didn’t know that Xfinity even had a mobile service. I love that they have the unlimited data because I am always going over mine!
I am so excited about Xfinity Mobile and I cannot wait to try it out! The xFi platform is another favorite of mine!
This is awesome! Love how you can pause devices. Great way to build rules and routines around device use for kids.
It’s crazy how far technology has come. I remember when Comcast first introduced Xfinity. I also love that you can get wifi just about anywhere, thanks to them!
This is really neat. I love the fantasy football stuff. What a cool product.
It is really neat that you can use voice commands to control it. There are so many cool features.
Although their general customer service is pretty horrid, I’m still glad my Mom has Xfinity because she is low vision, and the talking cable box is super helpful for her. I just wish they’d stop dropping channels off her subscription and ratcheting up the charges. I’m glad they have a dedicated customer service line for people with vision challenges like my Mom. These new features sound pretty cool!
Xfinity definitely looks like a great service to have. And they seem to have great features too.
This sounds like a neat mobile app. I’m not familiar with cellphone apps but I’m going share this with my hubby.
Oh wow! Xfinity sounds like a great service provider. If only they were available here in Canada.
Wow! This is so amazing, it will be very helpful. I hope it will be available here in our country, Philippines. I WILL WAIT FOR THAT!
I do hear a LOT about it, but we have Verizon and hubby is pretty much set that this is the package we are going with. Great details about the service though. Thanks for sharing.

This looks like a great option for the entire family. I love that you have the ability to pause all devices! Obviously this would be amazing for a home with children on mobile phones and tablets.
I must say they do have all the options anyone could possibly want. I used to always use xfinity in the past as well.
Oooh I love that you can pause the WiFi access by individual user or device! That will definitely come in hand when the kids are a bit older in our house. 🙂
I have never heard of xfinity. But it sounds like it is very technologically advanced.
