My Secret Mealtime Weapon: Red Baron® Pizza plus a Homemade Garlic Knot Recipe
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Red Baron® pizza. The opinions and text are all mine.
After a long week, I cannot tell you how much I look forward to Friday nights. Coming home after being on the go all week and knowing I can finally kick my feet up and relax gets me through the entire week. Friday night is pizza night in my house. When I need something quick and easy, it’s the best go-to meal for us.
I need something to help me conquer mealtime chaos. I have a husband who works nights, a son who is a picky eater and a daughter who keeps me on my toes. My secret weapon? Red Baron® pizza. Honestly, by the end of the week I am just emotionally and physically spent. The thought of preparing one more meal can just push me over the edge. After a long day of being a mama, nothing beats a great slice of pizza and a ‘glass half-full’ of wine.
My family loves the Red Baron® Classic Crust pizza because it’s not too thick, not too thin, and has just the right amount of crunch. Red Baron® pizza is the perfect mealtime solution – the one pizza everyone loves right to the last bite and the whole family can agree on.
I consider myself an ultimate #WingMama. Red Baron® defines a Wing Mama as a smart, reliable and busy mom who finds humor in the many hectic moments of motherhood. I’m a pizza enthusiast and a slayer of tantrums. I’m a mama who’s seen it all. From regulating screen time to hunting monsters, I have taken on just about everything my kids can throw my way – all with a ‘whatever works’ attitude.
I want you to know that you should celebrate the everyday chaos of mom life, rather than be ashamed or hide from it! Moms can be #WingMamas to each other and build each other up, giving a double meaning to the tagline “Never Fly Solo.”
When we make our Red Baron® Classic Crust pizza, I usually heat up some homemade garlic knots with it too! These are incredibly easy, done in under 15 minutes! I make them on Sundays when I am rested and then reheat them on Friday nights.
Homemade Garlic Knots
1 store bought pizza crust
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp parsley
salt & pepper
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2) In a microwaveable dish, mix together butter, olive oil and garlic. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in salt, pepper and parsley.
3) Roll out the dough and cut it into 12 strips.
4) Put each strip into a knot and place on a prepared sheet pan.
5) Spoon garlic sauce over each knot.
6) Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are golden brown.
7) Let cool before freezing.
Have you seen the Red Baron® Baroness? She has a signature look: a bomber jacket adorned with different patches she has earned throughout the years as a mom. Each patch represents different experiences, roles and battles moms typically face every day. What kind of patches will be on your jacket?
