Combating Busy Nights at McDonald’s
This post was sponsored by McDonald’s as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
A typical Thursday afternoon for us includes my kids getting out of school late because they stay for art class, followed by cub scouts. Sometimes if I am really lucky there is a baseball practice or an extra dance practice thrown in there for my daughter. Needless to say, by the time the day is done I am beat. You are probably wondering, when do you feed your family?
Instead of rushing home to cook and clean up in the kitchen, I use the time to relax with the kids after a very hectic afternoon. Luckily, on the way home, there is a McDonald’s and it’s become our routine to stop there to enjoy dinner together. Did you know that over the past two years, McDonald’s has made changes to how they prepare, source and evolve their food? You can really taste and see their commitment to giving customers food with not only great taste and modern choices, but with real ingredients!
I get the Sweet BBQ Bacon crispy chicken sandwich. Other ingredients on the Signature Crafted Recipe menu include things like Quacamole, Creamy Dijon Sauce, Crispy Onions and Pico de Gallo!
While the kids have their favorites, my favorite is the new Signature Crafted Recipes that are made with 100% pure beef or chicken not treated with antibiotics important to human medicine!
My son has now outgrown the Happy Meal since 4 or 6 nuggets are just not enough for him anymore. I like to order him the 20 piece Chicken McNuggets and whatever he doesn’t eat, we bring home with us. I am happy to order him the Chicken McNuggets that have no artificial preservatives and made with chicken not treated with antibiotics important to human medicine.
*Farmers still use ionophores, a class of antibiotics that are prescribed to people, to help keep chickens healthy.
My daughter orders the McDonald’s hamburgers.
