What’s New with Toyota at the New York Auto Show
On July 3, 2004, I purchased my first car: a blue 2005 Toyota Corolla. Almost 14 years later, that blue Toyota Corolla is still going strong with almost 330,000 miles on it. I remember sitting at the dealership with my parents and the dealer asking me what sort of features I was looking for. The only perk I was looking for was a sun roof. After attending the She Buys Cars Girls Night Out event this past week at the New York International Auto Show and seeing what is in store for Toyota, I can tell you there are a ton of features I would love in a new car now!
My parents have been Toyota Camry owners for as long as I can remember. Did you know it is the best selling car in America for the last 15 years? I’ve seen the transformation of the car and honestly, my husband and I have discussed trading in our crossover SUV because the Camry has that much more room! Check out the 2018 Camry available this August!
This is the all new Camry! With an all new interior and sportier architectural design, the 2018 Toyota Camry offers some amazing options:
- There is a lower and widened stance to the car now so with a lower center of gravity, the Camry will handle better than ever.
- For the first time ever, the Camry will have a panoramic glass roof with moon roof.
- The Camry will be equipped with their new EnTune 3.0 dynamic multimedia system: wireless cloud updates for navigation, WiFi, remote start and more!
Another Toyota favorite at the show was the new Toyota CH3. The CH3 is a compact crossover that melds a sports car with an SUV. The CH3 was apart of the Scion brand that has been brought over to the Toyota brand.
This was my first time at the New York International Auto Show and it will not be my last. One of my goals as an influencer has always been helping parents, moms in particular make informed decisions. The decision to purchase a vehicle for your family is a big one. Not only because of the price tag and the commitment, but because you are making a decision to transport your precious cargo. Seeing the entire Toyota line up under one roof, with no pressure to buy made it a very informative and unbiased lesson for me. Toyota’s manufacturing representatives know everything there is to know about their brand, so if you have any question at all, ask away!
