Spring Break Fun at the Corner Bakery Cafe
I have a confession: I miss my children terribly when they are at school. I miss the carefree days of doing whatever we wanted together, whenever we wanted. Most days after school are spent rushing around to get homework, dinner, errands and after school activities done within a very short time span. It’s stressful to not only me, but to my children. I truly long for when school is out of session so we can relive our glory days together.
Over the years, I have considered myself an expert in finding the very best kid friendly locations. Over Spring Break we ventured over to one of our old stomping grounds — the Marketfair Mall in Princeton, NJ — to browse the stores and get some dinner at the Corner Bakery Cafe. We had never been but after looking at the menu, it seemed like it would have something for everyone.
My daughter was thrilled to find her favorite dinner — pasta and meatballs.
My son found his favorite — grilled cheese.
I loved that the kid’s meals were less than $5 each and came with a drink, a side and a cookie!
Mom’s dinner — baked potato soup and the BBLT club sandwich.
Another favorite about the Corner Bakery? It has table service!
…and coffee!

I would love to taste their grill cheese sandwich. What a lovely lunchtime outing to have with your kids. Very nice. I love this.
What a nice go for coffee and a treat. Their lunches looked good too! I’d definitely stop in for a meal.
And I thought I was the only one who missed my kids while they are at school. Such a nice time spent together!
That’s a good deal for a kids meal. I’ll have to visit a Corner Bakery Cafe when I come across one! That soup looks delish!
I LOVE finding new bakeries to check out. And that baked potato soup looked delicious. Great post – I loved this.
I love the crumb cake there. Such a great sweet treat
I love the Corner Bakery! My friend and I meet there for breakfast every couple of weeks – and we often stay through lunch!
Ooh, this place looks amazing! I would love to be able to visit with my two 🙂
