5 Ways to Give Your Home an Update

After living in our condo for almost 13 years, to say I am getting bored with our decor is an understatement! I always say that I wish you could have another bridal shower after over a decade together. Things start to break, paint chips and fades, carpets get worn down and everything needs an update.
There are some great ways you can do your own DIY project on a budget to give your home the update it needs and you want!
New Light Fixtures
We recently took down two ceiling fans that had not been turned on in over a decade and swapped them for something new. No electrician needed either! The new fixtures really changed the feel of the entire room.
Add Floating Shelves
Floating shelves are great because they keep floor space (especially if it is prime real estate like in my home), but yet they give a little storage space as well.
A fresh coat of paint
This is such a big one for us! We can never decide on which color we like! But guess what? If you don’t like it, you can always paint over it.
Add some greenery
I love picking up plants and succulents to add a splash of color throughout my home!
After living in our condo for almost 13 years, our carpets have been put to use and well worn down. It was time for an upgrade. I am currently looking into two different options: vinyl plank flooring and Maple Engineered Hardwood. GoHaus offers quality, eco-friendly designs that help homeowners take creative ownership in their personal spaces and they offer both of these options. The Vinyl Plank Flooring is crafted to create a real wood look and texture, while the Maple Engineered Hardwood is a durable flooring option that is creamy in color and for takes well to wood stains.
