If you have read my experience with food dyes, you know I take all measures to keep them out of my life. There are times though when we become complacent and after a few emotional meltdowns from all of us, it becomes clear that one of the forbidden dyes has found my daughter.

Now, keep in mind that many brands are doing the right thing and removing artificial dyes, so some products on this list could become outdated.

Always be vigilant and read food labels, even products you purchase on a regular basis!

    I loved living in Colombia for one reason, my food was always more natural. I generally got most of our meat and produce from a local market. They restrict the use of food dyes and many of the products we use in the U.S. taste different there because of that.
