2016 Mazda 6 Review
If there is one thing I truly dislike in this world, it is car shopping and buying. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to test drive some of the hottest cars on the market right now to help my readers out in their car buying decisions.
My latest test drive was the 2016 Mazda 6. We’ve had a lot of favorites, but this was truly one of them. The sportiness and look appealed to my car loving husband and the safety features appealed to me – aka: mom.
First and foremost, with rising gas prices, I would be remiss if I failed to tell you about the amazing fuel economy the 2016 Mazda 6 got. With rising gas prices, the 28/40 mpg was welcomed.
Named the 2015 IIHS Top Safety Pick, the 2016 Mazda 6 had you feeling comfortable and snug. Features like Brace Assist & Smart City Brack Support, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning System, High Beam Control and Radar Cruise Control with Close Proximity Warning were some of our favorite safety features.
We were shocked at the LED headlights and how bright they were. The Active Grille Shutters open and close according to your current driving conditions to help save on fuel economy. Something I always comment about in cars is how dark they are at night! The 2016 Mazda 6’s LED lights inside illuminated the whole vehicle and I really liked that feature.
The 2016 Mazda 6 starts at an MSRP of $21, 495 and with the features and craftsmanship of this vehicle that is one heck of a value!
