Every year, I start off in January going strong on my meal plan. It’s not easy to do for me. I find it just another chore! But, I really enjoy spending the time scouring the internet to find some new recipes to feed my family! I’ve found that with meal planning, I am able to stay within my family’s grocery budget and I always know what to feed everyone!
So where do I look to find new recipes?
Cookbooks – Yup, I still have a small collection of cookbooks left that I love to look through and pull out some time tested favorites. Nowadays though, a lot of my cookbooks are free kindle books I have been able to download within the last couple of years.
Pinterest – That is a no brainer, right? I love Pinterest and have been pinning recipe ideas for years now it seems!
Facebook – When I see my friends sharing links and pictures of recipes they have made and it looks good, I save it for meal plan!
Grocery Store Circulars – I take a look through the grocery circulars at stores like Giant to see what is on sale and come up with meal ideas from that week’s sales.
Grocery Store Magazines – Magazines like Savory at Giant are free and a great way to come up with new ideas for my meal plans. Savory is full of recipes, cooking tips and coupons! You can find them at your local GIANT Supermarket at the checkouts, customer service center or are also available to download on the GIANT Supermarket website.
