It seems as moms we are always in a constant effort to find new ways to keep our children entertained. On days when getting outside to run around, if I had a penny for every time I heard “I’m bored”, I’d be a very rich woman. I finally decided to pull this homemade foam dough out of my box of tricks for the kids to enjoy. The best part? 2 ingredients that for many of us are common pantry staples.
See how easy this homemade foam dough is? Simply use equal amounts shaving cream and corn starch!
As much as I cannot stand Play-Doh, it keeps my kids content for hours on end. The problem with play-doh for me though it’s chock full of gluten. So for me, I feel like I am taking a chance of being sick every time I just look at the stuff. You can imagine how I felt when my son’s occupational therapist told me play-doh was great for building fine motor skills! I love that this homemade foam dough will help foster their fine motor skills and give hours of fun!
